Bonus Features in Pop Rocks
Central to the action in the Pop Rocks slot is the PopWins feature – this can lead to more rows and more ways to win as a result. Once you collect 7 pops in the container, the Multiplier feature is triggered which increases the multiplier by 1. When playing with the maximum ways to win, the Bonus Mode feature is activated where the multiplier increases by 2 each time.
PopWins feature
When you form a winning combination, you will activate the all-important PopWins feature. The winning symbols then ‘pop’ and are replaced with 2 new symbols. This increases the number of symbols per reel up to 7 per reel – high-value gemstone symbols can appear from the pops which are worth substantially more than the normal symbols.
3, 4 or 5 of any high-value gemstone symbol will give you 40, 80 or 250 times your stake respectively. A super high-value gemstone (in pink) can also appear which is worth 80, 200 or 2,500 times your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.
With each ‘pop’, the number of ways to win increases, up to 33,614. The pops keep on coming until no more new winning combinations are created.
Multiplier feature
Once you have collected 7 pops, the Multiplier feature comes into play where the multiplier increases by 1. You can see your progress in the pop container to the left of the reel set. There’s no limit to how high the multiplier can reach.
Bonus Mode feature
Last, in terms of bonus features, there’s the Bonus Mode feature – this is activated once all reels contain 7 symbols each. As a result, a random wild symbol is added to the reels – the multiplier then increases by 2 as opposed to 1 for every 7th pop. From each pop, 1 new symbol appears.
